Joomla! 2.5 - Our Default Choice from Now on

Thursday, 23 February 2012

Late January this year The Joomla Project skipped from version 1.7.x and jumped directly to release Joomla 2.5.0, which became the second release made within the new six-month release cycle beginning with the introduction of Joomla 1.6. Joomla 2.5 was reportedly a long-team-support (LTS) release which will be supported for at least the next 18 months. Although this was a security release according to official announcement, tons of awesome new features have been added to the system, JoomlaCreator is pleased to announce its highest priority as the default option for all customers who would like to build up their websites based on Joomla today.

We would like to highlight the new features added to Joomla 2.5, and we think it would be a new journey for both developers and customers using this latest version.

Applying Customized Fonts to Web Pages

Wednesday, 22 February 2012
Fonts are always the essential part of web design. Sometimes, we need to use some font that is not built in popular operating systems, therefore we may not be able to deliver the original design to website visitors. In this case, graphic designers may use images instead, but it's apparent not a good alternative because:
  • You are not able to use the font text-heavily;
  • Compared to texts, images are hard to change;
  • Not SEO-friendly, even you put relevant keywords to the image alt tags, etc.
Step 1 - Fetch font files of all 3 formats.
